Generations is proudly owned and operated by Renee' Jankowsky — wife, mother of four, and lifelong beauty professional. Originally from New York, Renee' began her career in her mother’s salon and has held her cosmetology license since 1993. With international training and a passion for entrepreneurship, she opened Generations in 2002, later expanding the space to include a clothing boutique.

Originally from Syracuse, NY, Kori found her passion for cosmetology over 14 years ago while attending the International Institute of Hair Design in Raleigh. She specializes in color formulation and corrective color, and continues to grow her skills through ongoing education, including airbrush tanning. As General Manager at Generations, Kori loves helping guests feel confident and beautiful. Outside the salon, she enjoys family time, cooking, reading, and adventures with her daughter and two beloved pit bulls, Sable and Layla.

A southern Virginia native, Brooke has been in the beauty industry for over 18 years and has been with Generations since 2002. A former manager, she now works part-time to enjoy more family time, but her passion for cosmetology and dedication to her loyal clients keep her behind the chair doing what she loves.

April has been a dedicated hairstylist since 2005, bringing experience and care to every guest she serves. A proud mom of one and stepmom to two bonus kids, she lives in Wake Forest and loves spending time with her family and husband. April’s warm personality and passion for her craft make every salon visit a great experience.

With over 10 years of experience, Rania brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and passion to her work. She specializes in color transformations and loves creating customized looks that enhance each guest’s features, suit their lifestyle, and leave them feeling confident and refreshed.

 Lindsey has been a friendly and familiar face at Generations for over 7 years. Starting at the front desk, her role has grown to include marketing, social media, and managing Boutique By Generations. She loves being apart of both the salon and boutique helping create a welcoming, seamless experience for every guest. 

Avery is one of the welcoming faces you’ll see around Generations and a wonderful part of our front desk team! She graduated from Leesville Road High School a year early and is now following her passion for beauty at The Aveda Institute at Chapel Hill, where she is studying cosmetology. When she’s at the salon, Avery is gaining valuable hands-on experience, supporting our stylists, helping our guests, and learning more about the beauty industry every day. We’re so excited to have Avery on the Generations team and can’t wait to see where her passion and talent take her!

​London recently joined the Generations team and is one of the friendly faces you'll see at our front desk! She graduated early from Granville Academy and is currently attending cosmetology school at Vance Granville Community College. While continuing her education, London is gaining hands-on experience in the salon, assisting our stylists and helping keep things running smoothly. We're so excited to have London growing, learning, and beginning her career in the beauty industry with us!

Marshall is a talented voice student at UNCG and vocalist for his band, Today's Too Late. A longtime customer turned employee, he has a special connection with Generations, where he got his very first haircut! With a love for music and a deep appreciation for his roots, Marshall brings a joyful energy to everything he does.
