Owned and operated by Renee' Jankowsky, wife and mother of four boys.  Renee' originated from New York where she worked in her mother's salon for 5 years.  Renee' has had her cosmetology license since 1993 and, with advanced international education she and her team have developed a loyal following since opening Generations in 2002. Generations offers the best salon and spa services in the region combined with a renewing experience while bringing out natural beauty. Renee has always had a tremendous passion in entrepreneurship and while running the salon & spa, 5 years later, she felt a clothing boutique would be a wonderful compliment to offer at Generations. Her company is one of Raleigh's rare team based salon & spas.  With pride she runs her business with health benefits,  paid vacation time, holidays and team bonuses!  The Generations team likes to think of their reservations as an experience rather than a service.  Generations serves a growing clientele that includes women, men and children of all ages.  A complete compliment of salon and spa services are offered - expert hair styling & coloring, brow & lash tints,  complete waxing services, manicures, pedicures, facials, massages, body treatments, ear piercing & airbrush spray tanning.

Kori 

General Manager/Designer

Kori is originally from Syracuse, New York. While she was attending college, her mom encouraged her to try her hand at cosmetology. Kori decided to listen to her mom's advice and began attending the International Institute of Hair Design here in Raleigh. She immediately fell in love and has been developing and cultivating her passion for cosmetology for the last 14+ years. She keeps up with the latest trends through continued training and has even broadened her skill-set to include airbrush tanning. Her specialties include color formulating and corrective color. As the current general manager here at Generations, the only thing she enjoys more than helping guests feel beautiful is spending time with her family. She has been married for over 12 years and has a daughter that she loves going on adventures with. Beyond that, she enjoys cooking, reading, and playing with her two sweet pit-bulls, Sable and Layla.

Alexis 

Team Lead

Alexis is a Raleigh native who has a love for hair-styling as well as helping people feel their best. Her interest in cosmetology began with an interest in makeup and blossomed into the love of learning about hair. She attended Mitchell's Academy to further her knowledge and immediately knew that she had found her passion. Her specialties include men's cuts, facials, brow shaping, balayage, and make-up. She has also received extensive training in Aveda, OPC, Surface, Nelly DeVuyst, and Kripa. Her passion and continuous training is fueled by her love for making people feel confident because she truly believes that each person is beautiful in their own right. She is currently working as Team Lead to help the Generations Team in their continued success When she isn't doing hair, you can find Alexis at the beach, cooking, thrifting or spending time with her son and husband.

Brooke 

Designer

Brooke is a native and resident of southern Virginia. Her love for the countryside and quiet country evenings is rivaled only by her love for cosmetology. She has been working in the beauty industry for over 18 years and has been working here with us at Generations for 16+ of those years. As a former manager here, she recently cut down on her hours to spend more time with her family. But her passion for cosmetology and her invaluable experience keeps her coming back to spend time with all of her loyal clients.

Kristie 

Designer

Kristie started her career when she was in high school, although she didn't know it at the time. She struggled to find a stylist that could achieve her desired look, so she just started doing it herself. What began as a hobby later expanded into a career she loves. Since being licensed in 2011, she has expanded her skills into skincare as well. Her specialties are brow shaping, cutting, coloring, balayage, and skincare. She has little time to relax while juggling a career, motherhood, and many hobbies- including upcycling, art projects, upholstery and chicken tending. When she is not building her knowledge of all things cosmetology, she is spending time with her husband and three children.

Anna

Esthetician/Lash Specialist

Anna is a Raleigh native that developed a love for makeup in high school and went straight to get her Esthetician License after graduating. Anna has trained others and enjoys doing Eyelash Extensions and is currently working at Generations as a Skincare Specialist. Her passion for cosmetology has continues to grow and she is currently enrolled at The Paul Mitchell School of Raleigh! She has been busy assisting our team of stylists on the salon floor. When she is not working or at school, you will find her at a local brewery, with her family, or walking her dog. 

Katrin

Guest Services

Katrin is originally from Youngsville NC, and currently lives there with her young son, who is the light of her world. She enjoys going on walks and being outside during the summer, and she can usually be found at the lake when not at work. She has an incredible level of kindness, and we're so glad to have her here at Generations! Look for her warm welcome next time you stop in!

Gisselie

Spa Attendant

Gisselie is our hard working salon and spa attendant! During your visit you can find her folding laundry, cleaning, sweeping and making sure Generations stays stocked, neat and tidy! She enjoys meeting new guests and offering complimentary foot soaks!
